Senior Port Part 2: Week 9

 This week I FINALLY got my second push on the animation to look right so I'm going to be splining everything next week and then doing a little touch up, then moving onto a simple lip read animation for the following weeks.   

Senior Port Part 2: Week 8 SPRING BREAK

 This week on CAGD 493, we had spring break, and with the recommendation of our professor, I took a break. A break from animation. The rest of the week I actually spent on rigging a character (Hellboy my beloved) from scratch, which took a lot of effort and research. I ended up mixing youtube videos and reconstructing the rig from another rig I like using for animation in order to learn how it was made. 

Senior Port Part 2: Week 7

 This is hell. Not literally, although it could feel like it at times. This week I got majorly stuck on the second push onto the door, and decided to completely redo it based off of peer feedback. It’s taken me quite a bit of time due to scrapping a lot of the original Keyes, making new ones and adding inbetweens while adjusting the beginning and end of the sequence to match the new movements. It looks a lot better now, I suppose, but I think I’ll be taking a break from that section and working on splining the last half this week. 

Senior Port Part 2: Week 6

 FINALLY I am ready to go into spline. I've refined it enough to go into auto tangents at last. The last touch up's I made was based on peer feedback; push the palm off the door handle more, while leading with the right hand. Angling the head as to look like the character isn't headbutting the diir but rather the side of his face is being pushed into it, and lastly looking at the door once when he's looking around and again when he's rushing towards the exit.
